Miramos y no vemos nada
«Miramos y no vemos nada, lo llamamos lo Invisible.
Escuchamos y no oímos nada, llamámoslo lo Inaudible.
Palpamos y no alcanzamos nada, lo llamamos lo Imperceptible.»

Yoda: Yes, a Jedi's strength flows from the Force. But beware of the dark side. Anger, fear, aggression; the dark side of the Force are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will, as it did Obi-Wan's apprentice.
Luke: Vader... Is the dark side stronger?
Yoda: No, no, no. Quicker, easier, more seductive.
Luke: But how am I to know the good side from the bad?
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

¡Oh, Dios! ¡Qué desvíos, qué vacíos encontraríamos en nuestro pobre saber!

To be calm becomes a kind of revolutionary act. To be happy with your own non-upgraded existence. To be comfortable with our messy, human selves, would not be good for business

One's life only reaches 100 years,
the body begins to deteriorate when you pass 40.
How good is it to fight for both fame and money if the body can not keep?
Just enrich your knowledge by reading and improve your skill by diligently practicing this art.
Be an orchid in an empty valley, its fragrance will attract admirers.
What you dont understand is that learning a spiritual discipline is not like buying a soda. It is what you put into it that determines what you get out of it.

One must distinguish the pure from the motley. Many practice taiji nowadays but it is not the real taiji. The real has a different taste, and is easily distinguished. With real taiji, your arm is like iron wrapped with cotton. It is soft and yet feels heavy to someone trying to support it. You can feel this in push-hands practice. When you touch an opponent, your hands are soft and light but he cannot get rid of them. When you attack, it is like a bullet penetrating cleanly and sharply (gan cui), yet without using any force.
The collection of Chen Wei-ming's Taijiquan writings
To throw an opponent to the ground is easy. To hit an opponent to injure is not hard either. But to bounce him off without hurting him, is very difficult.
The Tao of Taijiquan
I tell people when they learn Tai Chi Chuan that patience is not enough because people always lose patience. So I tell people, you have to have perseverance. I have seen people practice 20 years and quit. If you have 20 years patience, it is pretty good, but if you have it a lifetime, then we call it perseverance.
My favorite Ben story of all time is what he told us once during a break at the rundown Mission Street studio he held for a few years in the 90’s. He was talking about his recent trip to Israel, where he’d done some big seminar. He said there was a professor of dance in attendance, an older woman, said to be famous in her field, accompanied by her young female grad student.

It is said that those who cultivate the greatness of the Chi can travel without encountering a tiger or a wild buffalo, in battle no weapon can penetrate their armor.

We dont use the sword as an acyual sel defense anymore, but the value of the sword is that it is the «physical counterpart of the spiritual teaching of the Dao».
The sword’s Qi is like a rainbow, the sword’s movement is like a dragon. Sword and spirit merge into one and it's subtleties are without limit.
When practicing the form, the entire body feels comfortable; when pushing hands, the entire body feels lively. Therefore, after a long period of constant practice one not only avoids being tired, but actually feels more spirited after doing Tai Chi Chuan. This indicates great intensity of delight. However, beginners, who have not yet grasped the fundamentals, must go through a period of forbearance. Then, eventually, they will spontaneously enter the most enjoyable stages.
In the world, there are a lot of people who practice Taijiquan. You have to know how to separate true from false. As a true Taijiquan, one’s arms seem to be like iron rods wrapped with cotton. You may feel they are soft outside, but quite heavy, and you can feel this in pushing hands. When the true Taiji practitioner use Na on you, you may feel the touch is very light, but you cannot resist with force. Issuing energy (Fa Jin) toward the opponent is as quick as a bullet shot from a gun, without requiring any strenuous effort.

Students give up the immediate to seek the exotic; they don't understand the sheer marvelous function of the chi accumulating in the tan tien. The chi is just like wind, water and clouds. They each can store up power as the universe itself stores up the primal chi.
